A court in Nairobi has ruled that three youths have a case to answer in connection with the Westgate terror attacks of 2013.
The three are Ahmed Abdi, Liban Omar and Husein Mustafa. For one Adan Dheg, it was smiles of relief for him as the court freed him after ordering the DPP to drop all charges against him.
Were these youth scapegoats for the Deep State or were they caught up in a bad place at the wrong time?

Failed Coup

Back in the Nyayo Terror days, false flag operations were used as an excuse to reign in on political rivals and dissidents. Remember the 1982 coup by the Kenya Air Force that lasted for 4 hours? It is said that James Kanyotu and his bad ass spies had infiltrated the coup plotters and hadset in motion plans to arrest them before they could launch their coup.
Somehow, they were barred from accessing the airbase in Nanyuki and the coup was pushed forward ahead of time. What happened was described as a disaster.
The coup was quickly crushed and Moi clamped down hard on the remnants of the Kiambu Mafia before settling down and going after suspected dissidents.

Clever Mouse Traps

The Special Branch also created Mwakenya and Pambana among other 'dissident' pamphlets and spread them in the University of Nairobi. Many unsuspecting students and lecturers picked them up and spread them among their friends without knowing that it was a trap.
Many were caught by Kanyotu's agents and subsequently taken to the infamous Nyayo House. Some survived like Dr. Miguna Miguna but others didn't like Titus Adungosi.
Therefore, Westgate, in my humble opinion, was a false flag operation. It was meant to be used as an excuse to get rid of the Kibaki security apparatus that was frustrating Uhuru Kenyatta.

 After two more attacks i.e. Lamu and Garissa University, Uhuru finally got rid of Maj. Gen. (rtd) Michael Gichangi and replaced him with another former military man, Philip Kameru. Boinett replaced the bumbling David Kimaiyo.
What that went wrong with this false flag op was the looting. It was probably not in the grand scheme of things but it happened anyway. The bombing and the contradictory press conferences further ruined the master plan.
This case will also collapse and like all kenyans do, we will simply move on.
