HOW UHURU IS BETRAYING DP RUTO-NYAYO STYLE!

Its no secret that the man from Sugoi wants to be President after Uhuru retires to Ichaweri in 2022.
But the son of Jomo hates this fact. He hates the fact that the son of a peasant will succeed a high-born like him instead of another highborn, say Gideon Moi, whose father bulldozed his failed presidential bid back in 2002.
So after all the PR bromance of 2013-17, Jomo's son has now bared his ugly fangs to try and scuttle the man's bid for high office and he is borrowing from the Nyayo School of Politics where he took correspondence classes from the comfort of his high-end home on Dennis Pritt road unlike DP Ruto who had to contend with the skullduggery of boarding.

1. The Anti-Corruption War

With spanner boys like DPP Hajj and DCI Kinoti, Uhuru has gone after people he would never have dared during his first term. All of a sudden, kamata kamata has become the real fad on Fridays all in the banner of fighting corruption. Most of the targetted people are believed to be DP Ruto allies-if the grapevine is to be believed. The aim here is to prevent the man from Sugoi from building a formiddable war chest for 2022 because elections in Kenya are darn expensive. The accused are believed to be stealing funds through irregular tenders and funnelling the money to his 2022 campaign kitty.
Back in the Nyayo error, Moi simply cancelled Jirongo's NSSF contracts and shutdown YK92 money taps to prevent Jirongo from vying for President in 1997. The results of this action is still felt today, 26 years later where the man (Jirongo) is still bankrupt.  
  
      2.   Creating Prime Minister Position

Fred Matiangi, the Interior CS is now the unofficial Prime Minister following the signing of an executive order by Uhuru in Mombasa where he is still on holiday. When the ink is dry on the paper, you'll see that Uhuru has taken away most of his deputy's duties and handed it over to the burly man from Nyamira County. Perhaps he was irked by the constant tanga tangaing by the DP where he often tags along his praise singing allies. During his tours, the theme of 2022 is often sang according to script by the sycophants to a crescendo and he comes last as an anti-climax.
Remember that Moi simply elevated Uhuru from a nobody(He had lost heavily in Gatundu South in 1997 to Moses Mwihia), made him nominated MP and Minister for Local Government in 2001 and eventually pushed out his loyal VP Saitoti in 2002 from KANU into NARC. 

      3. Constitution Referendum

Currently, there are referendum pushes that are either state-instigated or popular initiatives. All of them are aimed at changing the 2010 constitution in order to create inclusivity as opposed to the winner-takes-it-all system. There is talk of introducing a Parliamentary system where a Prime Minister is in-charge of the executive and a president that is largely ceremonial. Predictably, allies of the DP are against this while ODM and some remnants in Jubilee are in favor of such a move. In particular, the Mt. Kenya Mafia with its bootlicker David Murathe argue that Uhuru is too young to retire and that he could serve the country as a future Prime Minister.
Well, Moi simply instigated the 1982 coup attempt to create the conditions necessary for the de jure ammendment that made Kenya a KANU dictatorship. It only took foreign and local pressure to have him strike out that amendment in 1991.
